After 2 hails in a month, AC roof sheet is still in a good shape

In early 2020, hailstorms continued to hit the northern mountainous provinces, but the houses with AC roof sheet here are still durable.

In the first 4 months of 2020, the northern mountainous provinces such as Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Bac Kan, Son La and so on have suffered from extremely natural phenomena such as hail, whirlwind which caused death and property damages. In accordance with statistics, thousands of houses and public works were damaged or unroofed, many hectares of crops were devastated, a large number of dead cattle and poultry also caused heavy losses. Dr. Vu Van Thang – Director of Center for Climate – Meteorological Research (Vietnam Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change) said: Hails in the past few months is an unusual phenomenon.

Located in Van Lang commune, Yen Bai province, the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was supported by local authority and businesses to build a small house for living standard improvement last year. To avoid unexpectedly natural disasters in mountainous area, the house was constructed with materials of good resistance such as AC roof shet and wall panels.

According to Mr.Quang, the house has been suffered from 2 hails in March. However, the right decision in selection of building materials which are suitable for terrain and moutainous climate has created no significant damage. The most impressive accomplishment comes from the new kind of AC roof sheet, which still retains beautiful color and well-known durability.
