The Vietnam Roofing Association presented the charity project of housing and dining hall to Mai am Giu-se

Having started from the second week of March, the house and dining room project donated by the Vietnam National Roofsheet Association to Mai Am Giuse was completed after 2 months of construction. With a total value of 770 million VND, new applications of fibro-cement materials such as wall panels, colored roofing sheets, and floor panels have been used in combination to create a living area for more than 130 children. On the morning of May 19th, the inauguration ceremony for the charity project of housing and dining hall for Mai am Giu-se was organized by the Vietnam Roofing Association in Ia Hlốp commune, Chư Sê district, Gia Lai province. Commenced in mid-March, the residential building, consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 dining hall with a total value of over 770 million Vietnamese dong, was completed after 2 months of urgent construction.

Established in 2005, Mai am Giu-se, initiated by Mr. Dinh Minh Nhat, currently provides care for 131 underprivileged children, including 30 who are studying at universities, colleges, and vocational schools. Despite being over 60 years old and suffering from brain tumor, Mr. Nhat continues to make efforts in taking care of the children’s lives at the shelter.

The charity project has an area of 174m2 and utilizes new applications of fibro cement materials, such as wall panels, colored roofing sheets, and floor panels, with the hope of creating a supportive housing area for over 130 underprivileged children at the shelter. Additionally, the Vietnam Roofing Association has also donated 70 backpacks and various study materials, blankets, and mattresses to partially support the noble heart of Mr. Dinh Minh Nhat in continuing to assist the children in difficult circumstances.

During the handover ceremony, Dr. Vo Quang Diem, Chairman of the Vietnam Roofing Association, expressed his appreciation for the compassionate heart of Mr. Dinh Minh Nhat. He stated that this project was built to provide the children at the shelter with better and more spacious living and dining conditions, allowing them to develop safely and excel in their studies, ultimately becoming valuable members of society. The Vietnam Roofing Association will make efforts to accompany the Mai am Giu-se in the future.
