In 2021: Building a new school site in Son La province

The Vietnam National Roofsheet Association cooperated with the Vietnamese’s Heart Fund to build Po-In school site, Chieng Luong Commune, Mai Son District, Son La Province. The school has 4 new classrooms with an area of nearly 200 square meters and an yard with an area of 120 square meters. All new classrooms are made from kinds of fiber-cement materials such as wall panels, fiber-cement flat panels, colorful roofing sheets with total the price of 700 million Vietnam dong. This is an activity within the framework of the annual cooperation program between the VNRA and Vietnam Television’s Vietnamese’s Heart Fund to build many schools and houses of gratitude for poor and disadvantaged areas across the country. The program has been running for 3 years since 2019.

In 2020: Building a new school site and a house of gratitude in Ha Giang 

The Vietnam National Roofsheet Association has sponsored a total amount of 1,135 billion VND, including the cost of building and providing school supplies for students such as desks and chairs, whiteboards, briefcases, crayons and notebooks. The construction project of the Primary School and Kindergarten in Lung Vu Village, Thuong Son Commune has an area of ​​over 258 square meters, including 5 classrooms (3 Primary rooms and 2 Kindergarten rooms); 1 kitchen with two compartments and 1 toilet with 2 compartments for men and women.

On the same day, the Vietnam National Roofsheet Association presented a house of gratitude with a construction area of ​​over 41 square meters to Mr. Sung Van Sin, Lung Buong village, Thuan Hoa commune. The house has 3 compartments, 1 convex compartment and 2 compartment having corridors with solid concrete structure, colored cement phibro roof, flat paneled ceiling, ceramic tile floor and separate toilet. The association also provided with 01 bed, 02 wooden salon sets and 02 standing wardrobes for the household.

November 2020: Building 2 houses of gratitude in Can Tho

The Vietnam National Roofsheet Association in collaboration with the Vietnamese’s Heart Fund – Vietnam Television built 02 houses of gratitude in Thot Not district, Can Tho province. Each house is 55 square meters wide with a total cost of 412 million Vietnam Dong. Besides building houses with solid concrete structure, the Association also donated with furniture, tables, chairs, cabinets and living utensils for each family.

In Octorber 2020: Building house of gratitude in Nghe An

The Vietnam National Roofsheet Association in collaboration with the Vietnamese’s Heart Fund – Vietnam Television presented a house of gratitude with an total area of 70 square meters to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoai in Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province.

In Octorber 2020: Building house of gratitude in Nam Dinh

The Vietnam National Roofsheet Association and the Vietnamese’s Heart Fund – Vietnam Television have coordinated with the local government to build a new house for Ms. Vu Thi Van in Yen Phuc Commune, Y Yen District, Nam Dinh Province. Her old house was in a dilapidated situation and lack of necessary household equipments. Understanding her difficulties, the Association built a new house with a total support of 150 million Vietnam Dong. The house is ​​50 square meters wide, including a kitchen, a self-contained toilet made from durable fibro-cement materials. Besides, the Association also donated and provided some essential supllies such as 01 altar, 01 wooden sofa set and 01 wooden bed.
