Inside an AC roofsheet factory

AC roof sheet producers continuously invest in innovative technology in order to improve occupational safety and environmental protection.

Chrysotile not only is used as an input in AC roof sheet production in Vietnam but also is mined and used under strict control in many countries. While the argument over the use of chrysotile is still going on, AC roof sheet producers are constantly investing in latest technology to ensure occupational safety and environmental protection. For instance, Bach Dang Joint Stock Company (Nam Dinh province) is one of the pioneers in investing in hi-tech production chain from abroad.

Bach Dang Joint Stock Company is located in suburban area of Nam Dinh province with total area of 85ha.

The plant is currently operating three production lines equipped with advanced technology imported from Russia, Germany, Belgium and some other Western European countries. According to Mr. Pham Van Mien, the Chairman of the Bach Dang company, the company has invested more than 10 billion VND in technology innovation.
Chrysotile is stored in a closed room.
Chrysotile blending is fully automated in a seal room, then is pumped automatically into the cement mixer.
The innovative production chain minimizes the possibility of direct exposure to chrysotile.

There is an automatic camera system installed at important stages of production so that the monitor can operate the process from a central control room.
